Colonial Beach Osprey - James’ and Dolly’s Nest.
Since this osprey is near the intersection of Bancroft and Madison I’m going to call the pair James and Dolly Madison. Didn’t see them for awhile and was very worried because they’ve been so faithful to that spot for years. But caught James as I came out for my morning walk around The Point. Was rewarded for my efforts by seeing two gorgeous red headed woodpeckers flirting with each other (Hmmmm. Maybe fooling around?).
They apparently wanted privacy though and wouldn’t stay put for me to take a picture. Joyce Reimherr
